Deadly shooting at a church in Texas, Sunday

Two people are dead and another person is critically injured after a shooting occurred at the West Freeway Church of Christ, in the Tarrant County city of White Settlement, Texas, Sunday morning.

The gunman walked up to a server with a shotgun during communion and opened fire. It was a massive emergency response. Agents from the Dallas Field Division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives said they were responding to the scene of the reported shooting. Fort Worth spokesman Mike Drivdahl said in a news conference that they believe the gunman is among the three but it’s unknown if he was killed or is injured. According to a witness, a church member shot the suspect. The identities of the victims have not yet been released and the motivation is not known. Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said he was "shocked and saddened" to hear about the shooting.

„My office will assist in any way needed," he said. MedStar, the ambulance service provider to Fort Worth and other cities in north Texas, said that the victims ranged in age from 30 to 60 years old.
