Police found the boy near the intersection of South Orange Avenue and Morris Avenue. A tenant saw the little boy lying on the ground and called the Police.
As the child was bleeding from the neck he was rushed to a nearby hospital.
Although there are four cameras that survey the complex and one security guard handling the lobby of the nearby building people living in the residential complex still feel it’s not safe for them to hang out at night in the street. The boy attack comes shortly after a woman was found naked with a stab wound just blocks away from where the boy was found. Police did not make any connection between the two attacks but investigation is still underway.
