A man in Texas was eaten by his dogs

It's a frightening but true thing: a man was entirely eaten by his dogs !After the 57-year-old Freddie Mack was missing for months, authorities performed DNA tests of dog’s feces they found containing containing bits of human hair, clothing and bone at the property and compared with the family’s records.

The result, Tuesday, proved that the 18 mixed-breed dogs apparently devoured all of Mack's body, his clothing and his hair, leaving nothing larger than 2- to 5-inch bone fragments. The horrible fact happened in on King Cotton Road near Venus, Johnson County,Texas, a community of fewer than 4,000 people about 30 miles (50 kilometers) southwest of Dallas.

The man loved his animals and it's unclear whether the dogs killed their owner or consumed his body after he died from a medical condition, because he had serious health problems. “We’ll never know, but either way it’s horrible,” the sheriff said. At the time of the searches at the scene the dogs were very aggressive. Deputies seized 16 dogs from Mack’s property and obtained an order to euthanize 13 of them. Two of the original 18 dogs were killed by other dogs at Mack’s home.
