Five minors killed a 24 old musician in Nashville

Five minors ages 12 to 16, three girls and two boys, who had a stolen loaded gun, are charged with criminal homicide in  deadly shooting of a Nashville musician, country singer, police said.

The five suspects robbed Kyle Yorlets of his wallet. It's believed Yorlets, 24, was shot when he refused to hand over the keys to his vehicle. "Concerted and coordinated work by the Juvenile Crime Task Force, Youth Services detectives, and North Precinct detectives" led investigators to a Walmart where the teens were arrested, police said in a statement. Musician Kyle Yorlets, 24, was shot and killed in Nashville. He was a member of the Nashville-based band Carverton. "We are in a state of shock and are having to grasp the reality that is now in front of us," Carverton's remaining members said in a statement.

The juveniles have been charged with the murder. Not all their names were released. The suspects were in a stolen pickup truck in an alley behind Yorlets’ home in the 3200 block of Torbett Street when they saw him outside. They used two stolen firearms. The kids remain in a juvenile detention center. A GoFundMe campaign has been started to raise money for Yorlets’ family, who are dairy farmers in Pennsylvania, for funeral arrangements.
