Democrats are controlling House, in the U.S.

Nancy Pelosi was elected as speaker of the House. This is for the second time. Democrats have the majority in the U.S. House of Representatives after eight years.

Members will then vote on a new rules package to govern conduct in the House during the 116th Congress. Pelosi has announced plans to pass a spending bill immediately in order to end the government shutdown. But the bill does not include funding for a border wall, so President Trump has said that he will not sign it. Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has said that the Senate will not vote on a bill which would not receive the president's approval. The President will have to support another attack.

President-Trump-b

Rep. Brad Sherman, a California Democrat, plans to re-introduce articles of impeachment against Trump on the first day of the new Congress, he said Thursday, accusing Trump of obstructing justice. Democrats have made clear they will investigate every aspect of Trump's life in the majority, from his finances to his Cabinet, but Pelosi and other House Democratic leaders have tried to tamp down talk of impeachment. Trump can only be removed from office by a two-thirds Senate majority. This thing not happens but a tension will persist.
