A Secret Service agent declared: “Kusick made statements about a desire to kill people on Halloween and that he had been tracking President Obama’s schedule so he can assassinate the President”. Kusick was studying at Colorado Mesa University but he did not let his studies get in the way of his master plan. He wanted to be known as the “guy who killed Obama”.
Kusick had a stolen gun but he was not able to buy ammunition for it. The 20 year old man said he had fantasies of killing people for years. He was seeing a mental-health therapist. Mitchell Kusick detailed him how he wanted to kill the president of the United States. Kusick was later admitted to a hospital and reported to the police. Now he can get a fine of $250000 and up to 5 years in prison for the federal charge.
