A 10-year-boy was arrested in New Jersey for sending threats by e-mail


The boy had then sent emails to a number of other staffers and administrators at the two school districts. After searching on IP provider, detectives arrested a 10-year-old boy who attends the Franklin Township School District and charged him with third-degree terroristic threats and third-degree causing false public alarm. He will be released to his parents following a psychological evaluation, police said.


The alleged threats prompted the Franklin Township School District as well as nearby Delsea Regional School District to close..A third district also closed because it shares buses with Franklin Township. Administrators and law enforcement officials are on heightened alert particularly in the aftermath of the February 14 mass which killed 17 people at Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida.
