Danvers and Swampscott police were notified Monday. They were arrested Tuesday after the video was reported to the Department of Children and Families and face charges of child endangerment and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon. The names of the girls were not released because they’re juveniles. The girls were arraigned Tuesday in Essex Juvenile Court in Salem. The baby’s mother said one of the girls was her niece. She was shocked by the story and declared: “I will no longer be leaving my children with my niece or her friend ever again in my life.”
Many Danvers residents was outraged after the video was posted online. Unfortunately, this is not the first time when juveniles do something wrong only because they want impress their friends on the social networks. Families should be more preoccupied about their kids do on networks. The networks at their own should be able to provide some moral guidance for their users. The society should sanction uncommon wrong behavior and the school must educate teenagers to understand more from the life complexity and especially about human values. If we want a better tomorrow we must do more today !
