It is reported that the Bangladeshi national was inspired by the leader of Al-Qaeda, Osama bin Laden. Federal authorities arrested him on Wednesday morning.
Quazi Mohammad Rezwanul Ahsan Nafis was unaware of the components of this bomb and he was in fact trapped by the Federal agents as the bomb was provided to him by one of the undercover agents. Quazi Mohammad Rezwanul Ahsan Nafis is just 21 years old.

Nafis came to New York with the sole purpose of destroying America. He is arrested with the charge of using destructive weapons and providing material support to different members of terrorist group Al-Qaeda. If he is convicted then he might have to face life imprisonment. Nafiz is also charged for carrying suspicious phony devices and other instruments from FBI agents with the intent of attacking different locations in New York. His name was also mentioned in the suspicious people of terror series.
Lynch said that this was aimed at destroying the US economy. He believes that he was doing the right job by following his fellow believers and confederates. An effective law enforcement approach in New York has failed his plans of striking at the core of the financial system of the country. FBI agents came to know about his plans months ago. They were secretly tracking his activities since July that is seven months after he arrived in New York. He also told an undercover FBI spy about his plan of launching a major attack. His conversation with the undercover FBI spy was recorded. He told the agent that it is going to be something very, very big that will shake the country’s economy. Some other conversations were also recorded in which he showed his interest of attacking on various targets including New York stock Exchange.
