Shooting with victims at a gender reveal party outside Cincinnati

Officers responded quickly to the 9900 block of Capstan Drive call. There were at least three to four ambulances and multiple police cars. Colerain police spokesman James Love said the first officer through the door of the small house encountered a woman dead on the floor. All the surviving victims were taken to the University of Cincinnati Medical Center or Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center.

The victims were all watching television together. They are family and friends. A gender reveal party is where friends and family gather to announce the sex of the baby. One victim, a pregnant woman, was shot in the leg, and suffered a miscarriage. A witness whoo was in a car on the street saw two men in hoods enter the home, open fire and run off. No information related to the suspects has been announced and no arrests have been yet made. Some of the injured victims are in a critical condition at hospital. No motive of the crime was known. Investigators are waiting to interview all the surviving victims.
