A five-year-old boy died at Sun Dial restaurant after getting head stuck in rotator

A five-year-old boy  died on Friday afternoon when he got his head stuck at the rotating restaurant of a popular tourist location in Atlanta. The restaurant spins to offer 360 degree views of the city's skyline, and the boy reportedly became lodged between the wall and a rotating table.

His family from Charlotte, North Carolina, and they stopped to have lunch at the Sun Dial Restaurant located on the 72nd floor of the Westin Peachtree Plaza Hotel. The family members were  the last customers in the restaurant when the boy wandered away from his parents to see the view of the Atlanta skyline. After accident he moving floor immediately turned off, but unfortunately it was too late. Hotel security and staff rushed to help. The boy died after one hour at Grady Memorial Hospital. “There was a tragic accident at the hotel involving a young boy. Words cannot express the depths of our sorrow. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family,” Westin Peachtree Plaza Manager George Reed said in a statement. The Sun Dial is said to be closed until further notice.
