The American rapper first sang “Hold On” for the crowd gathered at Microsoft’s retail store.
When the rapper ended up saying “fuck these computers”, he threw away a promotional sign and then jumped on at least 5 computers. After Microsoft staff cut the rapper’s music, MGK was clearly upset and angry. He then shouted he’s not getting down from the table he was on and he demanded Microsoft to play back his music: “Play that shit”, the performing artists said.
Eventually the rapper was escorted by Police and Microsoft employees outside of the store. Microsoft was reached for comments. A Microsoft representative explained that Microsoft regularly books artists to perform at its stores. But this event was an exception as it was not sponsored by Microsoft. He spokesman then added: “While the artist’s behavior was appropriate for a concert, some of it was not appropriate in a store environment.”
