Gamer dies while attempting a 24-hour gaming marathon

The Virginia man was raising money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Followers watching him play the game on the streaming platform noticed that something was wrong with Brian before he got off the PC to take a smoke break. He never got back. Shortly after, a 911 call for cardiac arrest was made. Vigneault, father of three, was pronounced dead at the scene.

“I watched him until about half an hour before he said he’d be right back,” a fellow streamer and friend of Vigneault’s said. “He was in rough shape… He just looked really, really tired. We were telling him, ‘Go to sleep. The stream can wait'”. Unfortunately, it was all too late. It was the last game played by the man going under the name PoShYbRiD. According to the medical examiner’s office, the circumstances of his death remain under investigation.
