Pilot Taken off United Airlines' San Francisco-bound flight

United Airlines announced it is investigating an incident related to a flight which was delayed approximately two hours. The company requested a pilot to be removed from a San Francisco-bound flight just before it left Austin, Texas.

According to United Airlines spokesman Charlie Hobart the pilot did not board the airplane in her uniform. It was also confirmed that the video circulating social media showing a woman talking to passengers over the intercom about the election, a divorce and other issues is indeed showing the pilot which was later taken off the flight.

Some passengers on the flight who got to tweet about what was happening considered the woman to be unstable, and were obviously worried for their safety. Another pilot was brought in and the flight was delayed. It is currently unclear why the pilot was allowed on the plane without her uniform. United Airlines will clarify this and other aspects during its investigation. The woman pilot is expected to give explanations for her behavior and the caused incident.
