“America’s Got Talent” former star Jackie Evancho will perform at Donald Trump’s inauguration


“I am so excited. It’s going to be awesome. I felt really honored to be able to sing for the office. It’s a great honor for me.,” the 16-year-old soprano said to media. Presidential inaugural committee spokesman Boris Epshteyn tweeted “She’s an inspiration for all Americans!” Evancho got her big break as a 10-year-old YouTube sensation who captivated “America’s Got Talent” judges in 2010. The singer previously met Trump. After placing second on “America’s Got Talent” in 2010, Evancho got to meet Trump at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida. After she was invited by President Obama to perform at the White House for the national Christmas tree lighting ceremony. She also was the youngest person ever to give a solo concert at Lincoln Center in New York City.
