William dialed 911 for assistance and told the police about the accident. Alyssa was rushed to WakeMed Hospital where she was treated for her wound and later released. Fortunately it was not a life threatening shot. She is fine. Glosson has a permit to carry a concealed weapon, the sheriff said. No charges are pending and police are treating the incident as an accident. This is the second time in four years that someone has been shot at a gun show in Raleigh. Dixie Gun & Knife Show it’s “Carolina’s largest show of its kind” and a sanctuary for gun enthusiasts where they can “buy, sell or trade” guns for military, hunting and camping use, as they say on their website.
