Investigators concluded also that Brown said Kohlhepp murdered her boyfriend Charlie Carver. Brown told police that she watched Kohlhepp shoot and kill Carver and a body was recovered from Kohlhepp’s property on Friday. She told police that up to four bodies might be buried on the property. Public records show that Kohlhepp was convicted of a 1987 kidnapping. Brown and Carver had been friends with Kohlhepp after meeting online. Todd Christopher Kohlhepp, 45-year-old, appeared at a bond hearing Friday in Spartanburg on a kidnapping charge. Prosecutor said more charges will be filled later. Guns and a large amount of ammunition were seized from Kohlhepp. It’s not clear if Brown was sexually assaulted. The kidnapper never took the chain off of Brown’s neck but he was taking her around from time to time. She received food once a day. Brown left the hospital late Thursday and is now staying with family.
