At least 10 people were injured, including an aide on the school bus, eight people on the MTA bus and the driver of the Mustang. Five of the crash victims were taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, with one in critical condition and four in fair condition. “It is a pretty horrific scene,” T.J. Smith, a Baltimore Police spokesman, said. “It literally looks like a bomb exploded in the bus, and it’s catastrophic damage,” he added. Other official described the accident place as a “complicated scene.” Baltimore Fire Chief Niles Ford said the scene was unlike anything that his first responders had ever seen. Gov. Larry Hogan issued a statement on the crash.
