The vandal, who said his name was Jamie Otis, indicated in a call to Deadline that he originally intended to remove Trump’s star to auction it off next month to raise funds for the women who have come forward to accuse Trump of sexually assaulting them over the decades. Until now, 11 women have claimed that the Republican candidate groped or otherwise attempted to get intimate with them. This wasn’t the first time when Trump’s star was vandalized. A reverse swastika was sprayed on the star in January. In June, a mute sign was painted on the star. In both cases, Trump’s star was quickly restored within a day. It existed even a petition to remove the Trump star from Hollywood Blvd. The police is investigated now this latest incident.
