The tragedy occurred Saturday at a home in McDonough, Georgia. Police will investigate variants but nobody can return to life the kid.The parents and the grandparents of the two boys were at home. They heard the gun go off, turned around and saw the younger boy had been shot. But could anybody explain why a handgun was in the children’s room ? We remember from the news in the U.S.: a 5-year-old New Jersey boy fatally shot his 4-year-old brother in the head while playing with his mother’s gun in June; a three-year-old boy accidentally shot and killed his nine-year-old sister in an Alabama home in February with a pistol he found on grandfather’s bedroom; two boys in Chicago were playing “cops and robbers” when the older boy, six year old, grabbed a gun that was wrapped in pajama pants and which went off, hitting the 3 year old toddler in the head in October 2015. And many other situations have the same common aspect which make the adults guilty: they left the guns in children’s proximity. Could something in the future stop this ?
