Former San Diego dental assistant sentenced in prison for assaulting female patients

The assaults happened between January 2015 and January of this year. Deputy District Attorney Martin Doyle said Ramos sexually assaulted victims who ranged in age from 17 to 63 when they were coming out of anesthesia after dental procedures such as a wisdom teeth extraction. Ramos was initially charged in February with touching the breasts of a 17-year-old girl and putting his face in her chest and other women said after that similar things happened to them. Ramos called a co-worker to get portions of the surveillance video deleted. He also put his back to the camera in many cases. It was proved that alcohol and an addiction to methamphetamine influenced Ramos but “the crimes were clearly planned,” Superior Court Judge Michael Smyth. He apologized to his victims.
