They are accused of offering to sell the baby to neighbor Carolyn Redden. Carolyn Redden lives approximately one mile from the couple, but says they did not know each other that well. She called 911 because the baby would not stop crying and was shaking. She supposed the infant may be suffering from drug withdrawal. Her call to law enforcement may have saved the child’s life. “I don’t care what race, ethnicity or gender a child is. They are a kid. They are innocent. We will do everything we can to protect these children,” captain Jim Sizemore said. Child welfare workers took custody of the baby. Flint and Harmon were behind bars after their bail was set at $100,000. Fayette County deputies said Ashley Harmon has two other children she has left in another part of the state.
