Metrobus hijacked in Washington D.C. and pedestrian killed after, in accident

Then he struck with the bus a pedestrian, the 40-year-old Anthony Payne, near a dumpster at a Crown gas station. The victim lied on the ground for several minutes before crews could assist him because several different nearby addresses were given for the scene. The driver and other passengers were able to get off the bus.Payne was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. The suspect was stopped and handcuffed by the police on the ground. He was violent and resisting the officers when they took him off the bus. Identified as 30-year-old Keith James Loving of Northeast D.C. he has been charged with second-degree murder. The driver pushed the emergency button to indicate that he was in trouble, during the incident. His injuries aren’t life-threatening.
