1955 Porsche 356 Speedster found rusty in a barn was sold for over $150,000

This type of car was a favorite of Porsche fans around the world at the time. General production of the 356 continued until April 1965 at the factory relocated to Zuffenhausen, Germany. The buyer at Ebay was Rod Emory, who owns California Porsche restoration company Emory Motorsports. He estimates that such cars, after being reconditioned, should sell for $500,000 within a year or two. To bring it back to life is however a difficult and time consuming task. This one  was sold with a title and an engine, but it was neither original, nor installed. A spare wheel and tire were included, however, and they’re as far gone as the rest of it.
