1955 Porsche 356 Speedster found rusty in a barn was sold for over $150,000

This type of car was a favorite of Porsche fans around the world at the time. General production of the 356 continued until April 1965 at the factory relocated to Zuffenhausen, . The buyer at Ebay was Rod Emory, who owns California Porsche restoration company Emory Motorsports. He estimates that such cars, after being reconditioned, should sell for $500,000 within a year or two. To bring it back to life is however a difficult and time consuming task. This one  was sold with a title and an engine, but it was neither original, nor installed. A spare wheel and tire were included, however, and they’re as far gone as the rest of it.
