Seven-year-old kid rewarded after he proved generosity face to community problem

“He or she, who ever did this, or they, doesn’t represent anybody but themselves. If I find the guy or girl who did this I would welcome them with open arms, to have a conversation with them. If this person wants to come and talk to us about why he did it and how we are not connected to what is happening in Paris or the Middle East,” said Faisal Naeem, an ICP board member, in regards to the person who defaced the mosque. Jack Swanson , 7-year-old, heard about what happened in the car of his parents and he wanted to do something to help his local mosque. Jack scraped together the $20 he had in his piggy bank, went to the mosque and handed the donation to Islamic Center. His special donation impressed members of the community. Without having expectations, just for being a generous good boy, Jack was rewarded later. He received an Apple Ipad sent by Arselan Iftikhar, human rights lawyer and author and editor of whith this message: “You had saved $20 in your piggybank for an Apple iPad. But then a local Islamic mosque was vandalized. So you donated your $20 to this local Texas mosque. Because of your amazing generosity & kind heart, please enjoy this Apple iPad with our sincere thanks.”
