The Astronomy Night at the White House


Several hundred students and teachers and scientists attended the event. Some interesting news were announced: will work with students and citizen scientists to scout targets for the , which will launch in 2018; more than 350 organizations and funders are announcing a goal to create 100 city and regional “STEM ecosystems” over the next five years; not at last, Bayer and National PTA are launching a national effort to engage parents in 100,000 STEM experiences.
