Shooting at a college in Southern Oregon, many killed and injured

Six Life Flight helicopters were dispatched to help the victims. About 20 ambulances and 75 police cars, including police officials in their private vehicles were in the area. The local hospital called in extra doctors and other staffers from other shifts to care for wounded in the attack. FBI arrived to assist. The school was placed on lockdown This college, established in 1961, has 16 buildings and 3,000 full-time students and 16,000 part-timers.  The campus includes a track, tennis courts, an outdoor pool and a vineyard. No information about shooter’s identity and his motivation was released. Schools are frequently a target for such incidents in the U.S.
