The man who fell from section 401 landed very close to the 200-level area. His fall was so severe that there was blood all over nearby seats and on the concrete ground. After having CPR done for about 10 minutes he was then transported on a backboard to the ambulance which took him to a nearby hospital for urgent care.
Lt. Charles Hampton of the Atlanta Police Department homicide unit is leading the investigation on what happened. According to him there are no indications until now of foul play. Security officers have cleared the seating area and until today there is security tape marking the area that is under investigation. Some fans who had nearby seats believe the man actually hit some wires and tripped. Police have not released the identity of the man who was announced later to be dead.
