100 search and rescue  workers assisted by an airplane and an helicopter participated to the rescue operation on the ground. Paul Lake is near the top of a mountain, at an elevation of nearly 10,000 feet and sudden changes in weather can be dangerous. It’s supposed that the boy survived because previously his father teached him about what to do if he got lost. The risk of hypothermia existed. In fact, Malachi Bradley, the little boy, survived by curling up between some rocks as temperatures as dipped into the upper 30s overnight. He wrapped his T-shirt around his legs and huddled in his jacket to keep warm in the remote area near the Wyoming border. He was cold and hungry when he was found.
