More than 5000 Tennessee residents evacuated due to train cars with toxic gas derailment

The evacuees cannot bring pets to the Red Cross shelter at Heritage High School. Animals can be dropped off at the Blount County Animal Shelter. Some large businesses have been evacuated as well. CSX said it will reimburse evacuees who are staying in hotels as a result of the train derailment. Authorities also advise against drinking well water until further notice due to water contamination. 12 emergency responders were decontaminated Blount Memorial Hospital.The CSX train was traveling from Cincinnati, Ohio, to Waycross, Georgia. Cars of acrylonitrile are located on either side of the burning rail car, specified company spokeswoman Kristin Seay to the media.
