Former school administrator from California sentenced 10 years in prison

Andrea Michelle Cardosa was accused in a YouTube video by one of the victims of abusing her when she was a 12-year-old student. The woman accused the former teacher to had ruined her childhood. Cardosa pleaded guilty last month to three counts of lewd acts with a child in a deal that spared her from a possible life . Jamie Carrillo, the first of Cardosa’s two victims, who uploaded the video addressed the court on Monday, according to the Riverside Press-Enterprise newspaper, saying, “I will stand up for my 12-year-old self who did not have anyone to fight for her.” And she continued: “Now I’m left with horrible memories of abuse. There is no excuse for what you did.”
