Police were hunting for the suspects who fled the robbery scene on foot to Marion Avenue after crashing a stolen Chevrolet Camaro car a few blocks from the scene. A source told that a weapon was recovered near where the car crashed. One of the suspects was filmed by a surveillance video cam. As known, they were two Hispanic men in their mid-to-late 20s. The organization Citizens Outraged at Police Being Shot (COP SHOT), has offered a $10,000 reward leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspects. “These officers did something that was extraordinarily brave,” said the New York Mayor Bill de Blasio. The officers are treated at St. Barnabas Hospital and are in stable condition. They are expected to recover.
