According the police, the waste-hauling truck was extended too high to go under the bridge. No one was on the bridge when it fell at the time of the crash in the beginning of rush hour but the driver of the truck died at hospital. His identity has not been released. Investigators determined the cause of the impact but for the moment is unsure yet if the bridge had proper visible indications about the permitted dimensions of the cars on the roadway below. In other words, it’s to be decided if the responsibility of the fatal accident is only on the driver or it is shared with other culpable part. From the instant, it is estimated that some changes will be needed in the place for more security. Fortunately, the timing of the crash prevented it from being much worse. It’s not sure how long the roadway would be closed.
