He was pronounced dead 45 minutes later at the arrival on hospital. His mother was injured by a gunshot in the same incident and was taken too at the hospital. Neighbors declared to police that they heard about five gunshots. This happened later after a domestic situation between the boy’s mother and a man outside the family. The little boy, identified by media as Jakari Pearson, was known as a kid playing baseball with a smile on his face. To honor Jakari’s memory the local community held a candlelight vigil and many toys near the house of his parents. The police is seeking after more information. No one is yet under arrest but they say “We have a pretty good idea of who it is that we are looking for.”
