Hill regained consciousness this Monday , after 69 years, at the Naval Medical Center (NMCSD) after a controversial new treatment originated by Professor Hans Friedritch Müller, consisting in experimental drugs and low voltage electroshocks. The former marine will need time to begin moving his arms after a long program of physiotherapy because his muscles have not been stimulated for 69 years. It is not expected that he will stand or walk again. The most difficult for the 95-year old man will be probably to understand the big changes that occurred in the technology that we use daily as a part of our life. His wife, remarried in 1954, is dead. His son is also dead but he still has one unknown 70-year-old daughter and many grandchildren.
