According to a recent interview, the former secretary of state is not afraid of any of the possible moves from her primary rivals.
Hillary Rodham Clinton, who went on a tour to promote “Hard Choices”, her new book, this week declared that she really wanted to travel around the country this year and both relax and sign books. She continued by saying what she wanted to do next: “and then take a deep breath and kind of go through my pluses and minuses”. Political analysts as well as some democrats worry about this wait time until Hillary will make her final decision public because this could prove to be bad if the former secretary of state announces that she will opt against running.
If Hillary Clinton decides not to pursue the White House and announces this only next year then several democratic senators that are potential candidates will have a real disadvantage over Republicans that are actively pursuing the same goal. For now Clinton had the following to say: “I’m not going to say one way or another… We’ll see what they decide to do, how they conduct themselves: Whether this is one more travesty about the loss of four Americans or whether this is in the best tradition of the Congress, an effort to try and figure out what we can do better.”
