62-year-old Edmond Aviv sat this Sunday morning at a street corner with a sign that read: “I AM A BULLY! I pick on children that are disabled, and I am intolerant of those that are different from myself. My actions do not reflect an appreciation for the diverse South Euclid community that I live in.”
Municipal Court Judge Gayle Williams-Byers, who gave the above mentioned sentence, also ordered Aviv to go to counselling and anger management classes after he serves 15 days in jail for his deeds. Edmond Aviv admitted he was guilty and apologized in a letter to his neighbour Sandra Prugh and to her two adopted disabled children, to her husband that suffers of dementia and to their other paralysed son. Aviv wrote: “I understand my actions could have caused harm but at that time I was not really thinking about it… I want to express my sincere apology for acting irrationally towards your house and the safety of your children.”
