The largest gold treasure discovered in the U.S. history

The treasure has more than 1,400 gold coins in $5, $10 and $20 denominations and are dated from 1847 to 1894.
The couple wants to remain in anonymity. They didn’t reveal the exact place of their discovery. However, the discovered treasure was named “Saddle Ridge Hoard” because the Saddle Ridge hill is in the proximity.
The actual owners of the treasure plan to sell many of the pieces to collectors, probably on the – “Collectibles” website. The coins were authenticated by David Hall, the co-founder of Professional Coin Grading Service.
Many suppositions are possible about the provenience of the treasure, including the alternative of some kind of robbery deal. But nobody wants to know this, at least not the happy couple that found it.
