One of the wounded persons was a woman doctor. The victims were treated at the hospital. Renown Regional Medical Center was put on temporary lockdown. Police gained control of the crime scene. Investigators found about two dozen witnesses. They were taken to police headquarters in the hope to obtain more accurate information about the incident. A lot of people including witnesses and community members and even the state Senator Debbie Smith who was stranded in the hospital posted various information on Twitter about this dramatic incident. They expressed stupefaction and sadness. Police don’t know the motive of the gunman. No preliminary details had been communicated. As a witness on the scene , Kat Race, a medical technician of the hospital, appreciated: “The police handled in the best way possible. They were very professional and calm. Everyone stayed pretty calm.”
