According to the sheriff’s department, after knocking J.R. Trisler from his motorcycle, he struck many times in the back the second victim, Tyler Lakin, and once more in the wrist. The injured man was taken to the University Tennessee Medical Center. Witnesses stopped to help on the scene and followed Scott at this house calling the police. Before the police arrived, Scott came out of his garage shooting at them with a gun in each hand. Other charges for the arrested man are from attempted assault and leaving the scene of the accident. Scott almost managed to run over the two bikers. One of them was an African American and Scott also launched many racial slurs. Rodney Lee Scott is being held in jail and he has to support the consequences of his criminal action.
