A family of six was rescued after two days in the snow

They survived by burning tires, rationing food and banding together. The temperature dropped to minus 21. 200 people searched for them while knowing how every passing second could mean the difference between life and death.
However, their survival “it’s a miracle,.it really is” said the Perching County sheriff, Richard Machado.
They were taken to the hospital but as Dr. Doug Vacekof Perhing General Hospital said, none of the six will have long term health effects. Christina McIntee and the little Chloe, 3 years old, were released from the hospital in perfect condition. Four members of the family will stay more.
The family publicly said “Thank You” to the search and rescue teams.
