According to Detroit Police Chief James Craig, 20 to 30 people were gambling in a small back room of A’s Barber Shop in the 5200 block of East Seven Mile Road in Detroit, Michigan, when three were killed and six others wounded after a mass shooting.
Craig appreciated that this was “urban terrorism.” Only a few information is available but it is supposed that there was an ongoing feud between the shooter and some members of the gambling party. During the night the number of deceased persons was reported to have increased to five.
Police are searching now for a white 2004 Impala car with a possible broken rear window from gunshots. They also search for a similar black car. For now it’s not very clear what was the number of shooters involved in the incident.
Crime Soppers has announced a $5,000 reward for anyone who provides information that leads to prosecution. Information must be transmitted to Detroit Police homicide detectives at (313) 596-2260.
