Some people think that the building is a place to meet ghosts. The ghost hunters and the paranormal passionate are the first to come in the area, all the time. Some of them claimed to see apparitions, ghosts, shadow movements and other possible proofs for a paranormal activity.
For people searching special scary sensations, there is already a place to try: the tour includes a visit in the underground tunnel used to evacuate the deceased persons hidden from those who were still alive.
This form of sightseeing entertainment seems to be profitable for the actual owner of the building, Charly Mattingly. He bought the building in 2001 but the initial plan to turn it into a hotel and a conference center was scheduled for later.
As for the existence of ghosts and spirits, Mattingly says that “it could be true.”
