Six friends including Lindsey and Brian were on the boat operated by Jojo John, a 21-foot Stingray,  for a short trip across the Hudson River departing from Piermont, when it struck a barge carrying materials for the construction of a replacement for the Tappan Zee Bridge.(Three barges had been anchored in the river since around April).
After the collision, Lindsey Stewart and Mark Lennon were sent into the water. Stewart’s body was recovered on Saturday. The search for Lennon’s body is underway and even until today Lennon’s body wasn’t found..
The boat’s operator, Jojo John, was charged by authorities. He is suspected of operating the boat while being intoxicated.
All the other people from the crashed boat were injured. Brian Bond, Lindsey’s fiance, was one of them. He was able to call 911 and Stewart’s mother.

Lindsey and Brian have known each other since they were young children and they have been friends all the time before deciding to plan the marriage.
Before the fatal trip, the six friends dined at a restaurant.
The Hudson River boating accident is being investigated by local authorities.
