Erin Brockovich , a well known consumer advocate, is helping people who have been impacted by environmental issues, medical devices, pharmaceutical products and personal injury. She is an American legal clerk and environmental activist, president of Brockovich Research and Consulting.
On Friday, June 7, 2013, late night, wardens observed her having trouble docking the boat. Because she was blowing over the 0.08 legal alcohol limit she was taken into custody at Clark Detention Center.
Brockovich had significantly results in her public past activity. The most fampus moment was when she investigated a case of water poisoning created by PG&E (Pacific Gas&Electric).She gained international fame when Julia Roberts played her in a 2000 movie with his name. In the movie, Brockovich is an unemployed single mother who brings down a California power company accused of polluting a city’s water supply.
Sunday, after being arrested, Brockovich apologised for her drunken boating action and specified that she did not operate the boat in open waters. “This was clearly a big mistake”, she said. Brockovich was released from the Clark Detention Center after posting $1,000 bail.
