According to District Attorney John Haroldson and to the prosecutor in this case the teen wanted to do an attack similar to the 1999 shooting spree from Colorado’s Columbine High School or even to top it by the help of a carefully elaborated plan and of some explosive devices.
The boy, who is only 17 years of age, managed to get six types of explosives. Police raided his mother’s house and found the explosives. They arrested him Thursday night. The District Attorney explained that they found a secret compartment under the floorboards in the teen’s bedroom. From there Police recovered drain and pipe cleaner bombs, napalm and even some Molotov cocktails.
Although the boy is a juvenile he will be charged as an adult with attempted aggravated murder.
