Earlier in 2011, Weiner resigned from the U.S. after he was caught sending vulgar photos to a woman via micro-blogging site Twitter. Last month, while giving an interview to the New York Times, Weiner revealed his interest in making a political come by participating in the city mayor election.

After the Twitter debacle, Weiner has recently re-started using Twitter to share links to his 64-point new plan aimed at helping the middle class New Yorkers.

Weiner recently returned to Twitter and has been sending out links to his 64-point plan to help New York City’s middle class.

So far, City Council speaker Christine Quinn has been the major candidate for the job of the mayor of the New York City. Current mayor of New York, Michael Bloomberg’s term is limited and at the end of this term, he can’t run for the office again.
