During the Boston manhunt the republican tweeted Friday morning that liberals in the city wanted to have an assault weapon to protect themselves and their loved ones: “I wonder how many Boston liberals spent the night cowering in their homes wishing they had an AR-15 with a hi-capacity magazine”.
This tweet generated a lot of controversy and after being criticized by both Democrats and Republicans Nate Bell issued an apology in a following tweet message.
Nate Bell cared to underline that although he is sorry he doesn’t regret much about what he said. His only main regret is regarding the improper timing of his “personal view”.
