The Massachusetts State Police confirmed that a search warrant had been issued in relation to the apartment probe. Investigators were seen this morning carrying brown paper bags, a duffel bag and plastic trash bags leaving the Revere apartment. The investigations have been taken over by the FBI from the Boston Police Department.
A photo which captured the second bombing said to have been taken by Dan Lampariello, a spectator, has gone viral on Twitter sparking several questions of a visible man standing on a rooftop. Speculations are rife that the man could be connected to the bombings or could be the actual bomber. The rooftops around the marathon roof have been said to be popular for rooftop parties which the Boston police have been cracking down. It is not clear whether the authorities will act on this possible lead.
