The Oldsmobile that slammed into the Pontiac in a no-passing zone created carnage. Twenty three year old Kay Melanie Lemmon and three other passengers that happened to be in the Pontiac were killed instantly.

There were victims in the Oldsmobile too: twenty-eight year old Hooks Willie died from the force of the impact. The two other injured passengers were sent by air to the Columbus and Atlanta hospital.

The names of everybody who was involved in this accident were not released to the press yet. Georgia State Patrol is currently leading an investigation trying to find out what exactly happened. The first suspicion is that Hooks might have been drunk or on drugs and this is why blood-alcohol tests were ordered for Hooks.
